Still playing around with textures .... my 2 set subject photos are due by midday on Friday. One minute I like this, next minute I don't...

I like it, but the two subjects aren't related -- the ship textures made more sense to me.

@anniesue @narayani @bf2016 Thanks Annie-Sue, Barbie, and narayani.Barbie, perhaps it is because the subjects are not related that I am dithering between whether or not I like it? I did one with a whole garlic hoping to show the papery textures, as that is sort of related to hessian / burlap, but hubby said he didn't like that. Hmmm... maybe I need to try again today!

@eevaliisa Thanks Eevaliisa. I think it is very good for me. Forces me to slow down and think about it a bit. Not all my ideas work, but at least it is forcing the creative juices to flow a bit, as well as making me learn the technical stuff better.
