I think I found my texture .... it's a TEX Bar which looks so yummy to me I'm wishing I hadn't donated it to my husband when I packed away my gear to get ready for visitors tonight
@anniesue Yes I did try it head on (after cutting it straight where it had been broken in half) and that looks so dead. Maybe I'll try head on again tomorrow on a newly broken one. I'll have to go out to our local supermarket early in the morning to buy a new choc bar as my photos are due for submission at 2pm! (But this time I'll buy a few. I don't need to be tempted if I put them in the back of the fridge out of sight)
@seacreature I had actually considered the shadowy bit in the middle and wondered if you could light it with a little pen light or something! (and the back of the fridge ploy isn't infallible!)
@anniesue Thanks Annie-Sue. Good idea to give it some front lighting as well to fill in the shadowy bits. I didn't buy any more today after all, but will give this another try some other time so the back of the fridge doesn't need to worry about me finding chocs there to nibble on just yet
