Decided I'd better go and shoot my lone bromeliad flower before it is too late. I've missed most of it's development this year due to other commitments, and now I can see the colour is changing to a dark pink. I seem to recall from previous years they start off a soft baby pink, and become darker and darker until they are maroon, and finally die.
