Not Harriet

At least it's not Harriet again! My orange tree is responding beautifully to the compost, and pigeon poo, and shower water (now in the drought we catch all the water from the shower and wash hand basin to divert it to the fruit trees). It is absolutely laden with oranges, not yet ripe enough to start picking, so I thought it would be a good plan to try and start getting a shot or two but found it quite difficult crouching down under the tree, focussing manually because autofocus wouldn't work, and holding my camera still enough at that awkward angle to try and get a reasonable shot. Think perhaps I need to try with the nifty fifty instead of just using the 100mm lens because it happened to be attached!
How fun to be able to take pictures of your own orange tree! Seems very tropical to those of us cold-climate types!

I don't have any oranges, and my mandarins are splitting before they're ripe 🙁 Your tree looks like it's thriving!

@bf2016 I guess it is quite tropical .... but then I don't have all the wonderful snowscapes you do, or the lovely fall colours, or spring ...

@narayani Now you mention it, I don't even know for sure that this is an orange. It was planted here before we bought this house, but had never had fruit yet. I just know it is not a lemon or lime. LOL. This is the first year I am getting fruit, and there seems to be quite a lot of it

@seacreature that's great there is so much fruit - whatever that fruit may be!
