Been a busy day - household chores + hospital visit, and then getting ready to go out in the evening so just a quick snapshot of the roses Cheryl gave me this evening. Can't wait for some daylight hours to spend photographing these in natural light.
@anniesue@777margo@narayani Thank you. The black background is because I got my cheapie ring flash out again - haven't used it in ages and wanted to check batteries were okay in it. If one sets the power quite low, the light falloff is dramatic so only what is up close is lit, and the rest falls into blackness
