Desperately wanted some time to shoot my roses from last night, but really needed to reshoot my screw city for the challenge theme Steel on Rate My Photo as the deadline for submissions is tonight. I felt the previous shot was too sparse - needed more screw buildings to give it a bit of depth. I used Gimp to try adding a moon from another of my photos - worked great but I couldn't get the reflection right so scrapped that idea! Also tried stars behind my screw buildings - but I need time to fiddle and learn how to use Gimp properly, so best just leave alone for now.
@mona65@anniesue@777margo@narayani Thank you all for the constructive comments. Yes I was striving for more depth in it. Perhaps closer together may have worked better .... would have to do some more workshop raiding to find screws that stand up straight. Some have rounded or shaped heads :( .Theme challenges are good to be a part of just to keep one thinking!
