Think it might be a stilt, but not sure? Shot whilst out walking dogs. Tide was low so water was really far from the path. I wouldn't normally have tried shooting this bird from so far away, but figured I would just consider all the extra space to be minimalism. Didn't realise in a river full of jetties and reflections of the jetties and ropes and poles, how difficult it would be to get a patch of "nothing" around the bird, but at least the dogs on leads behaved while I stood waiting for the bird to wade into an appropriate spot
@anniesue Yes, the dogs are becoming well trained. Max is intelligent enough to have learned now that he gets loads of positive reinforcement and attention if he just lies down and waits while I have a camera to my eye, so I just battle with Charlie @narayani@s4sayer Thanks Narayani and Margo.
