I don't often go to the beach - especially not at sunset, because I feel our beach is too isolated from our little village and other people coming and going, and too deserted, to be safe for a woman on her own .... but sometimes I just feel a need to go anyway.
@narayani The problem is, I do feel safe. But I am conscious that there is a large township of poor people nearby, and a huge problem with tik amongst many of the youth there. Because I never see anybody else near the beach there would be nobody to hear a scream if there ever was a problem, and in this country we have a lot of violence.
This is so stunning! That’s a shame that you don’t feel quite safe. Would be nice to go without feeling like you have to look over your shoulder. You certainly don’t want to put yourself in a bad situation.
