I enjoy taking portraits when the opportunity presents ... the background where these guys were working was pretty horrible. Dark green, bright white, and the black bars of a gate. Not to mention his purple hat and sort of blue clothes. But it's a lot better in black and white when you can't see all those mixed up colours
