It's a bright, bright, bright sunshiny day

I can see clearly now ... the air seems to have been washed clean by the rain showers we've had the past few days
A fabulous shot and great reflections. Love the song by Johnny Nash too 😉

@ludwigsdiana Thank you. I guess you could tell my age from the songs I quote. LOL. But it is the words from these songs that stick in my memory and come bubbling up to the surface at unplanned times.

LOL, I started singing it as soon as I read the title. Busy place.

It's a beautiful day! ... Have you seen the movie Inside Out? It explains how those kinds of memories come "bubbling up".

There’s so much going on in this image - so many lines! Glad you’ve had some rain

@bf2016 I haven't seen Inside Out. Will look out for it. I am fascinated by those kinds of things.
@meotzi @narayani I agree - the image is too busy to be a good image. too many lines and too much going on so it would never pass muster as a club submission. But I think that is why I chose this busy image as my photo to represent today because it was all the bright busy-ness that made me start singing "I can see clearly now" in my head.

PS That is a small part of why I haven't been back to camera club for 18 months now. I stopped going when my stint as chairman ended just after my Dad died - I simply couldn't cope with the demands and looking after my mother. But although I learned a lot at camera club, I haven't been back because I started feeling like the constant worry about what would be acceptable to a camera club judge was cramping my creativity and need to try new and different things that broke the rules.

@seacreature I didn’t see the profusion of lines as a negative! The camera club sounded stressful when you used to mention it - who needs more stress?!

@seacreature Looking at it again, it's really a study in contrasts. There's all the busy-ness of the man-made things and the men making more things and then there's the calmness of the water reflecting all that busy-ness.
