Crazy weather patterns lately have confused the wildflowers and they are out about a month too early, lining our roadsides and filling up the vacant stands. Last year the flowers were very sparse and with tiny little heads, due to the drought. They seem a more normal size this year, but still not as densely packed as I have seen them in previous years. I suppose there wasn't as much seed scattered last year?
