A nice happy summery photo from tomorrow because today was awful - absolutely freezing cold and I was confined to my study with Max and Charlie on leashes around my wrist. I had sent them to "doggie daycare" with my brother in law the previous 2 days, but they were becoming increasingly stressed after watching me move furniture out of the lounge the past 4 days, and then being taken down the road to Billy & Doris. It was all too much for 2 rescue dogs who had previously been dumped. Their reaction to furniture moving made me wonder if their first home had moved and then dumped them or left them behind? So today I kept them out of the tile adhesive and grout by tethering them to my wrist. They seemed so happy and content to lie at my feet with the umbilical cord of their leashes joining them to me, but I couldn't attach their leashes to anything else and expect the same contented behaviour. So I decided their needs had to come before my own, and endured it for the entire day until the tilers left the house at 7pm!
