Tomorrow

Today was busy trying to keep up to date with work from NZ and also deal (unsuccessfully so far) with an enormous mole rat destroying my garden again, so I didn't take any photos
Grrrr I know how you feel! Groundhogs are what we battle here. They will goes through the trouble of digging under my fenced vegetable garden when they have acres and acres of fields out there to eat to their hearts content.

mole RAT - you'll need him soon! Seriously though, I too understand the problem - we had ordinary moles in the lawn.

@narayani Thank you. You are so lucky not to have to worry about critters like these. They are not about to attack me or the dogs unless threatened, as they are vegetarian, but they are causing total devastation and their burrows cause paving to collapse as well

@anniesue If I can get this mole rat and kill him or relocate him, I definitely won't need him again, I promise you. I will find other, less destructive rats and mice to play with. Never thought I would be wanting to kill an animal. Don and I always relocated snakes etc. and if I could catch this mole rat I would attempt to relocate him, but I've become desperate enough to just want to kill now, if I can

@beckyk365 I imagine groundhogs are similar to these mole rats? They are huge, and the amount of soil they displace is quite unbelievable. The mounds are at least knee height

@seacreature hope you find a solution - I think we resorted to poison - and then couldn't eat some of the vegetables that year for safety's sake

@narayani lol!

@seacreature knee high?!! Ugh! That’s very disturbing. Maybe trapping is the way to go so you don’t have to deal with poisons.
