I find myself watching the skies between the roofs and trees around me, and if it looks promising I grab my camera and dash down to the river if I can, to grab another sunset. There was such a lovely party atmosphere down there tonight with little groups of people everywhere just enjoying the breeze after a very hot day
@narayani Thank you. Yes same night but this is as the sun was setting so the sky is filled with oranges. The pic I posted for yesterday was taken a good few minutes after the sun had already set and that is when blue hour is starting and the sky and clouds start filling with pinks and then deepening into purples and finally blues
@koalagardens Thanks very much. I tried to time my shots to get the birds in front of the rays but my shutter speed was a bit slow by then so they are a bit of a blur. I guess I should have upped the iso in order to increase my shutter speed but I still have to train myself to get into the habit of thinking quickly on the scene instead of thinking afterwards what I could have or should have done!
