@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. No, this is my old, old camera - my very first camera in fact, with my old Tamron lens. I since upgraded to my 80d and then treated myself to a 24-105 Canon lens. That combination is much better quality pics overall I think, but weighs a ton to carry around and 24mm on a crop sensor is not very wide, so the tamron 18-270 gives me a good range and is very lightweight with the 450d to carry around.
