WWII Lookout Point

... or rather the remains after vandals tried to strip it. This is one of two a few kilometers apart but just visible to each other. I understand they were used as a pair to triangulate the position of submarines spotted off the coast to provide accurate co-ordinates.

It is my photobuddy, Karen's birthday early next week.Ever since Don died Karen takes me out for breakfast or lunch on my birthday, so I took her out for photo opps and lunch today as her hubby will take her out on her actual birthday.
