@narayani Thank you. It is luck of the draw how close one is to the animals as they are roaming wild in the entire national park which covers an area of 19,623 sq kilometers. There are fenced in camps for overnight visitors. When not in the camp you get in your car and drive. You may not get out of your car nor may you drive anywhere except on designated roads, so you might be lucky and find a lion lying on the side of the road that you happen to have chosen, like this one was, or you might spot something further away. Often animals are so well camouflaged that you might actually drive right past something and not even know it is there unless you happen to see some movement.
