Despite all the dreadful weather we are having in the UK, if you look hard enough there are clear signs that Spring is just around the corner.
We popped up to Derbyshire today, Chatsworth Farm Shop, for jars of things that you don't need, like Nepalese Curry, and Spiced Balsamic Vinegar. Then onto a very nice pub for a lovely lunch, and then time to find some photo opportunities.
To get this I sneaked into a small stately home garden when we spotted these Crocuses in the snow. Not the cleanest background, but as nature intended. Today, I am happy with my work. Well done to my wife Rebecca for spotting them!!
Just found this on PP.....gorgeous shot....I like the background, despite your doubts. This just about sums up our winter.......some early buds and blooms, then whop! covered in snow! Love the purple against the white.....belated fave!
Aahhh sorry ....have you been missing it all this time?? Popular page....you will find it under your browse menu button. Here you can see the recently posted pics that have been liked, faved and commented on the most. Some of us really strive to be there, for others it is a place to go to find new photographers or get inspiiration. The page had a shuffle button at the bottom so you can mix up the pictures. So pretty. Great composition and pop of color. I'm amazed that the crocuses are blooming in the snow. The slightest hint of cold weather here and they wilt.
@seanoneill It's true though!!! Lol perhaps it's off in cahoots with mine! I'm in a shocking slump right now... one of those, couldn't care less ones lol. I know it will pass, but I'm really frustrated about it. It could also be the fact that basically most of my shots are in or around my home... need fresh inspiration! @ozziehoffy Yeah me too. The weather is rubbish here, snow, but not enough, and no blue sky for 3 days. I nearly threw the towel in last night and stopped, but then I did a safe shot to get something done for the day. I think finishing my 365 and having no target doesn't help.
@seanoneill You're not allowed to throw the towel in... you're not on FB to stalk! Oh and ... you could be onto something there!! I finished too so there isn't a goal.... hmmm... perhaps themes instead?
