My two boys go to Loughborough Grammar School, a private school in the nearest town to us.
Tonight it was the Year 10 parents evening, where Sam got his exam grades. He achieved.

He is a very talented young man, who needs a push every now and then, but these are grades to be proud of. Ben does very well, but today was Sam's turn to shine.
You have reason to be proud Sean, a young man going places! We are very proud parents tonight too..our daughter has just got a 2-1 degree in Podiatry at Salford University despite her being a mature student with job, kids, husband & house to run! she was so thrilled today when she heard.
Wow, great work Sam! You and your wife must be very proud Sean. What a lovely looking school. So symmetrical, ivy and all. Except for the turret on the right of the centre tower. Can they crop it off? ;)
@tracywilliams@rockinrobyn@iridecentburden@jackie8 Thank you all, I am so proud of both my boys, but Sam deserves the credit he is getting. HE is such a lovely chap as well, and gets a bit of stick from me as we are so similar in personality, which means that sometimes he needs a kick up the backside!
What a lovely place to go to school, such a great setting, nice capture. So good to hear a success story these days, yes I would be proud too, congrats to Sam.
@jennywren@zuzana Yes, this is the quad and clock tower at my boys school. It is a wonderful school where my boys get so many chances that their peers from their primary school don't get at a state secondary school. Mind, it costs me a lot of money each year, and it has clipped my wings rather in other areas!!!!
