On the advice of @rhos, who lives on Anglesey, I took a quick detour to see the South Stack Lighthouse while on my way to Ireland on wednesday.
I only had about 20 minutes, so couldn't get across the bridge to the lighthouse, but took a few shots of it from the top of the cliffs opposite. Whilst I have one or two that show a more dramatic sea, this shows off the lighthouse to best effect.
Within an hour the weather had taken a turn for the worse and a sea fog descended. If you take a peek at the two other shots I took on wednesday, you will see what I mean, especially the shot I took of the lighthouse as the ferry headed out to sea.
Thank you all for all the great comments and faves on so many of my photos in the last week. The shots from my Ireland trip are far more mundane, more diary shots than anything else.
Oh boy as your next 2 uploads demonstrate this is needed so badly!! Well actually the foghorn that accompanies it!! What a shame for you though! thats life :))
Beautiful capture! I can't believe the weather deteriorated so quickly, it's astonishingly clear for this shot! I love the way you've shown this with your photos.
