Mere Hill Spinney with ELT

Lovely weather here today.

Another shot of Mere Hill Spinney and the ELT at he bottom of the hill. As this has featured several times in my project I wanted to present it differently today hence the square crop and B+W processing.

Thanks to all of you for your great comments and favs yesterday, I'm chuffed to have a PP so early in the year.
Fav. So awesome. Love the way the light just touches the tops of the tree. Almost looks infared. Brilliant capture Sean.

Wonderful, especially the sun lighting up the branch tips. I love it when a particular tree is singled out and celebrated!

@primitiveprobe It's funny isn't it Andreas. When you post certain shots, you just know how certain people will react to them.

The composition works well ... the processing looks almost solarised, not sure about that. Is this a red channel conversion?

I like the white linings around the branches.

Splendid isolation, like the b & w

Great shot, especially in black and white which really highlights the silhouette of the tree. Is this the lone tree that features in your shots of the hill?
