The road over the hills by seanoneill

The road over the hills

A lazy day after consuming far too much red wine with our very dear friends Donna and Stuart last night. I slept in until 11am, which felt very decadent!!

Lawn mown, Epsom Derby day watched, and then a quick spin to the road between Bradmore and Plumtree to photograph a favouite scene of mine.

Off to hunt butterflies with @runningbk tomorrow, very much looking forward to it too, hoping to see and photograph a very rare British butterfly.
Oh my goodness, can't imagine how amazing sleeping til 11 would feel. 7 is a good day around here! Love this rambling road. Have fun on your butterfly hunt tomorrow!

Those verges of sheeps parsley are just amazing. Undulating landscape and road remind me of a David Hockney painting. Beautiful.

@yrhenwr Cheers David, it is the road between Bradmore and Plumtree, just off the A60 south of Nottingham.
June 5th, 2013
@seanoneill I thought it looked familiar! I used to ride around that area back in the 50s before girls distracted me!
June 5th, 2013
@yrhenwr haha, nowadays it would be an XBox providing the distraction!!
