The Backside of the Market. by seattle

The Backside of the Market.

Love this view of the apartment buildings and the Market Sign. Fits well with the theme. Have a great weekend.
Great shot, Constance! Love all the lines in the buildings.

great picture Constance, I know it's for tourists but as a tourist I loved this place and had a lot of fun with the "flying fishes". Even if it's a long time ago I remember that I really enjoyed Seattle and it's a pleasure to have memories back thru your pictures.

Great shot! I remember this sign - what great lines on the apartment buildings too! I liked the 'flying fish' also...it's a great Seattle moment! It's apparent how much your love your city! Me too!

Agreed, it's full of lines. Nice shot.

very nice! I like how the sign and those building to the left work together to create a nice diagonal.

I am with Bill, have seen the front many times but not the back.

Yes it does, I love how you know your city inside and out, backwards and forwards, up close and personal.

its perfect

I never thought to step around the the back side! This is the additional photo a local has the time to take! I envy you that you obviously get to the market there frequently. I saw Helene thought it was for tourists, but that fabulous fish market, the flowers and the fruit are best taken straight to local Seattle homes and enjoyed!

Sure does fit with the theme...you do such a great job of coming up with cool shots...I really *love* the fact that you are showing us the backside of this famous sign!

Hey, I recognize this shot! We are having a blast in your fair city, with absolutely perfect weather. Been loving the market and have gone down there most every day. I forgot how hilly Seattle is so we're getting a good work out! Wonder if we've crossed paths at Pike Place ;)
