Rainy day so went downtown to Pacific Place on 6th and Olive. Great shops and fun art work. Love this bird sculpture and the store Twist. My favorite, however is the reflection of the shopper in the window.
most people...perhaps myself included, would have zoomed up on the penguin and totally missed the relection, which is what makes your photographic eye, and the resulting shots, so wonderful. I'm very much missing this sort of public art in this particular place....a Seattle treasure hunt is sounding like a very good idea indeed.
LOVE this! The shopper passing by gives your photo a human aspect while we all enjoy the sculpture out front. Having seen a few other similar sculptures, I wonder if they're all by the same artist. Mr Penguin seems to be there welcoming people in to a wonderfully interesting shop!
