Spent some time at the market yesterday. This photo made me laugh. 1. Is the lady at the counter on her knees in the ice waiting for her fish order? 2. Are the people looking at the shot they just took of her and laughing? Do you think there is any truth to these statements... What do you see?
I don't think the lady at the counter is on her knees, I think she is standing in a gap between the two counters ? The people are laughing at your idea for this clever shot ... maybe

Constance, what do I see? Well for a start I see an image from a 365 photographer who knows how to take an excellent picture :) As for the story the image tells me , three people sharing a recent recieved text message , a lady waiting for the fishmonger to wrap her fish and some bargain shrimp prices !
I see three people who are admiring the photo they just took of themselves. It's a father and son (they both have the same shoes) and the woman is the son's girlfriend (she has similar sunglasses as his, so they probably got them when they were out shopping together). There--how's that? No idea what that other woman is doing, maybe she's asking forgiveness from the Fish Gods by kneeling in their icy grave
First of all, great photo. I think they just took a picture on their phone of you taking a picture of the lady at the counter. They are not really laughing, just politely smiling.
amazing to see the market not crowded is what I see, and with those sunglasses on, I think they are trying to distract from who they really are- and the lady at the counter, well, it does look like she is in the ice LOL.
Oh this is open to so many possibilities, but I think I am going to go along the same thought as Barbara. I think they may have spotted you with your camera, and got one over on you. They are all looking at your photo with humorous thoughts of how they are going to post your photo in their very own 365 album.
This is an easy one - The family is looking at a picture of their dog who just nabbed a fish and is running through the market with it. The dad is holding a poop bag. :)
