Spent a great afternoon here after I had lunch on the 6th floor with a spectactular view of the city.
It houses the Bibliothèque publique d'information, a vast public library, the Musée National d'Art Moderne which is the largest museum for modern art in Europe, and IRCAM, a centre for music and acoustic research.
Loving your Paris series Constance. We went to Paris in Feb 2001, before I was a keen photographer, so I'd love to go back again and Photograph it properly . The Pompidou centre was fabulous.
Oh my gosh...that sounds like a dream afternoon. And this is such an intriguing and paradoxical shot...somewhat futuristic and somewhat vintage. Very cool.
