The coloured building in the background is Whitechapel IDEA store, which is where the cafe is found on the fourth floor, with the amazing view of Whitechapel station and views of London

@northy yeah - this sort of shot I always convert to b&w because I don't rate the colour. There is another one that actually works better in colour, but that wasn't the point for this challenge.
There are certain aspects of each shot I like. The windows in the background are great in color, but I think the rest of this, the color distracts. I'm almost thinking some selective coloring on this one might be in order.
@webfoot I agree that there's too much in this one to work well in black and white, and deliberately chose this shot as the one that was better in monochrome rather than another which had fewer colours and worked better in colour.
@webfoot sorry - meant to say those blues and greens on the building in the background are from Whitechapel Library - which is where I take those shots of the City of London and that shot of angled beams.
