These are the last few stitches on my daughter's quilt, finishing the corner binding which I hand sewed today after she machined the rest - patchwork, quilting and all - as it's mostly blue for the Rainbow Challenge (I did suggest we should mitre it, but that wasn't what I got to finish off).
I forgot the worldwide minute - cooking at that time and not thinking about it
Three good things:
1. I passed my asthma check up with no quibbles - BMI of 21, blood pressure of 112/70 (I have lost weight since my last weigh in so it was nice not to be warned about my health)
2. I got out for a bit on my own, probably a bit longer than I should have - first time since we both had a stinking cold last month.
3. Actually started writing up blog bits on dress-making
Thank you for looking, your faves and comments. And thank you for getting the pear from last week to the top twenty. You are all wonderful. I prefer to look at your pictures rather than thank you individually below.
That's a really pretty shade of blue. I like the close-up feeling of a finished project and the sense of accomplishment that goes with it. Good shot! (Glad your health is improving too!)
I can feel the warmth of lying under this quilt. Both you and your daughter must he experts in this sort of work. I love the shot, the focusing and the colour.
The green in my Oreo cookie picture is because it's mint creme filling in between. :)
(Your stitching is so neat!)
