This is some indigo cotton fabric with pink stars being sewn on my sewing machine - an attempt at a trouser pattern to see if it fits me using fabric in the stash that I don't love so much that I'll cry if I don't get wearable trousers. There's an indigo background board as well for the Rainbow Challenge. The machine is sewing as my Get Pushed challenge for this week from Tina @tstb13 is:
"a photo with shows movement, how that is up to you"
Wet miserable day with high winds to encourage me to spend the day inside, dressmaking, although we did get out to buy replacement sewing machine needles for my daughter to finish her project.
Three good things:
1. The pattern does fit well enough, so I may have some summer trousers (I haven't made them up as I didn't have a zip of the right length and colour in the stash, but I did sew enough to try them on.)
2. The sewing machine has a finished replacement cover;
3. my daughter's recycled sweatshirt is finished barring the snowflakes I have to embroider on
Thank you for looking and your amazing comments - you're all wonderful. I prefer to look at your pictures rather than thank you individually below.
You've definitely created a photo with motion in it. Impressive, the work you put into sewing and creating clothing. A rare craft these days, I imagine. (I always enjoy reading your "three good things" list. )
You are sew creative indeed. I like the movement of the needle- an excellent capture of motion. All your clothing projects sound pretty- and I admire anyone who can sew like you do! Good shot!
