More of the paperclip family for the Rainbow Challenge - the title is the first line of Harry Chapin's Cat's in the Cradle (which I saw him perform he was in London the last time, and I've seen his daughter live, on the folk circuit). I started on the paperclip family saga because this week's Dogwood 52 week challenge is focusing on trash. I don't have a tiny yellow paperclip, so I'm using a tiny safety pin.
Three good things (to be completed later)
1. My daughter saw a lovely rheumatologist this morning who has made the expected Ehler's Danlos Type 3 diagnosis, which should make the other consultant appointments much easier;
2. We walked there through the Forest and past lakes, so saw a great crested grebe, lots of tufted ducks, diving in the really clear water, and heard a woodpecker (among other things)
3. Such madness at Guides - 20 plus girls running to "Flush" or "Bin" various sanitary items - general hilarity all round.
Thank you for looking, and being so enthusiastic about this series of shots - I'm wondering how to incorporate my Get Pushed challenge. I prefer to look at your pictures rather than thank you individually below.
@farmreporter he came over without his full band for the last tour, and one of my friends was an avid fan and dragged us to see him, which I have never regretted.
@shutterbug49 thanks - the Ehlers-Danlos is more of a nuisance we can deal with - this was more to get the diagnosis confirmed and sort out physiotherapy to build strength in her joints.
Love Harry Chapin and this song is one of my favourite of his. So sad when he died.
