The medal on the left is the one I earned for running the 2010 New York City Marathon. 26.2 miles is the longest I've ever run, and most likely the longest that I ever will run.
The medal on the right is the one I earned for completing the 2011 Empire State Building Run-Up. 1,576 steps to the Observatory is likely the tallest I ever will run.
I wanted to photograph these medals side-by-side to celebrate these achievements.
