I actually wasn't planning on shooting until later today. But I saw how the light was shining through my New York City Marathon Tiffany apple, and thought that would be a very nice subject, especially since the Marathon was my 2010 New Year's resolution and the 365 Project was my resolution for 2011
This is definitely the kind of shot that I wouldn't have been able to take a year ago. The project has pushed my skills forward, which was why I embarked on it in the first place. I'm pleased with the progress that I have made this year.
