I like things that remind me that this township existed long before anyone ever heard of McMansions, or McDonald's for that matter. This old gas pump is one of those things - I pass it every so often, and am always amused to see that it and its partner are still there.
I shot this a few years ago with a friend, but didn't have much of an idea what I was doing back then. This shot may not be perfect, but at least this time I was using my manual settings.
I'm sure that I will re-shoot this in the future. Hopefully each time I do I'll improve on my past work. I already know which lens I'm going to bring the next time....
