Things are different now. We decided to renovate the basement. My husband was the one who finished the basement our first winter in the house, when we were desperate for the kids to have a place to play. But now we're ready for a more professional basement - one that we can enjoy as adults.
This was demolition day - the guys removed all of the walls, etc. Tomorrow they'll return to start framing the new walls.
Everyone assures me that I'll love it when it's finished. But for now, things look a little lonely down there.
