DayQuil

If you know me, you know that I try to avoid medicine whenever possible - I hate being dependent on it to get through the day. But I've been battling an annoying cold or allergy situation for the past few days (it's not really presenting like a cold, but I can't figure out what I can suddenly be allergic to in the middle of the summer), and I've succumbed.

We had bought a multi-pack of NyQuil and DayQuil a while ago - the NyQuil is long gone, but we didn't want to throw out the daytime meds. Because my husband is around today I don't have to worry about driving under the influence of cold meds (which sometimes make me loopy), so I figured it would be safe to medicate today.

But before I took the meds I grabbed my macro lens. I had no other inspiration for today's project, so I figured I'd shoot the pills before popping them.

Thanks Isis - I am. I got through yesterday without any cold meds (only Ibuprofen), and I'm hardly coughing anymore :)
