I photographed this subject this morning, but was not completely pleased with my work. So I went back out this afternoon and took some more shots - I'm happier with this one than the one I originally posted.
When our landscapers planted this bush in the spring, they told us that it would bloom later in the summer. This morning I noticed that it was indeed blossoming, so I decided to make it my subject of the day.
I just noticed that you went to Bermuda! I am going in two weeks. Did you take any pictures? I read the fact you did not want to expose camera to beach, isnt the D7000 solid enough for a day at the beach?
Hey Warren - I took a lot of pictures in Bermuda. I brought three different cameras on the cruise - the D7000, my P90 and my S5100. I did take my D7000 into town and shot with it there, but I didn't want to take it to the beach for a few reasons - the sand, the water, and the fact that I just didn't want to worry about good equipment when I was trying to relax (I brought the S5100 that day).
Where are you staying in Bermuda? Have you been there before? I've been there several times, and it's my favorite place in the world (see Day 200 ).
