My husband and I were looking outside our hotel room this morning, and he noticed some dolphins swimming close to the shore. I grabbed my camera and took some shots.
This would have been better with my 70-300 lens, but I was traveling light on vacation.
Still, this is pretty cool - I had never seen a dolphin in the wild before, and I enjoyed being able to get a couple of shots of them for posterity.
If you go to the beaches in the Carolinas you can see tons of them in the summer months. I think there is even a place you can actually go swimming with them. They are very intelligent creatures. Great Capture!
I know - I had never seen one before, and there was a whole bunch of them this morning!
