Today is Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish New Year. Following tradition, this afternoon we went to symbolically cast our sins away by throwing bread on the water.
In the past my older son has blown the shofar (ram's horn) for such events, but since he is away at college our younger son ably took over the blowing duties today.
Chag Sameach - may this be a good year for all of us!
Whoa, at first I thought he caught an eel and was trying to eat it, these tiny thumbnails certainly play tricks on our eyes and mind. Nice shot, its nice to see that the tradition continues.
Thanks Kerri :)
Thanks Michelle :)
