Last Sunday, after my Photowalk, I was talking to some of the other photographers. I was asking advice about photo editing because I feel like I'm outgrowing Picnik, and one of the photographers told me that I should look into Adobe Elements. However, when I later asked my guru of all things photography whether I should purchase elements, his reaction was that I would be better off with Lightroom.
The very next day, B&H Photo announced a 24 hour sale on Lightroom 3 - 50% off, and with free shipping. It seemed like it was meant to be.
My order arrived today. The next several days are going to be busy, so I'll probably still be using Picnik for a little while. But I'm looking forward to learning how to use my new photo editing tools.
