Dawn in the City – Holy Trinity Church against the early morning sky of Leicester. This was taken from a multi storey car park. Thanks to strong winds and heavy rain, I have opted out of cycling to work for the last two days, and driven instead. My journey home is in a south westerly direction, against the prevailing wind. Not normally a problem, but recent winds would have been blowing against me at twice my usual cycling speed. Scotland (and maybe Wales Mair?) suffered much worse winds. I still got very wet and windswept walking the dogs when I got home.
