While everyone else was settling down to watch the opening Olympics opening ceremony, I was enjoying my own spectacle – this evening’s sunset was wonderful. I took a lot of photos, many with a tree or plant silhouetted against the sky, but I decided that the sunset was so glorious in its own right, that it didn’t need enhancing. A silhouette may still appear over the next day or two. And I still got back in time to see most of the Olympic opening ceremony, which I thought was brilliant, if a little quirky. A bit like we Brits I suppose?
