Sown Wild Oats by shepherdman

Sown Wild Oats

Wild oats silhouetted against last night’s sunset. One of my first casual farm jobs was “oat pulling” – walking up and down cereal crops pulling up wild oats growing in the crop, and disposing of them (or occasionally lobbing them at other “oat pullers”). Nowadays spraying does the job.
Gorgeous photo - love the silhouettes against that orange glow.

Brilliant! It takes a well-trained eye to pick out the oats like you have done! The sky is stunning!
