I was walking the dogs up and around the quarry edge when the sound of what I thought was a tractor drifted across in the wind. Unusual, since there is very little field work going on at this time of the year – no ploughing or drilling, although maybe spraying. The noise got louder and I realised that it was this chap, followed by his mate, heading for the quarry. They did a couple of circuits of the quarry, before they descended behind the Hill, and peace once again descended around me. I really needed a longer lens for this, but managing two dogs is quite enough without a hefty camera bag as well. I am definitely a dog walker who likes to take photographs, not a photographer with a couple of dogs in tow.
