Catkins in waiting by shepherdman

Catkins in waiting

I took this one while waiting for @shepherdmanswife to manipulate her tripod and macro lens in order to take a much better shot of these catkins. It was a cold day but I didn’t mind waiting – I knew that we would shortly be passing the pub, with its open fire. I successfully persuaded @shepherdmanswife to pop in for a spot of lunch. Well, it would have been rude to walk by without saying hello to the landlord, wouldn’t it?
ahhhh spring is much closer in your neck of the woods.....are catkins are still pulled in tight but showing!
