No doubt this fisherman’s father taught him how to use a rod, and now it his turn to pass the skill to the next generation. It was good to see a youngster enthusiastic about a simple outdoor activity – although no doubt anyone who knows about fishing will remind me that there is a lot more to it than simply dangling a line from the end of a pole. Well, there are all those flies to tie for a start, although this type of sea fishing, off of Llandudno Pier, seemed to involve wriggling worms instead. You may have noted that fishing is not one of my passions.
My father always wanted to take my young son fishing! Unfortunately he died before the wee boy was old enough! Its a father and son thing though- I'm too impatient!
