The Afon Mawdach estuary in Barmouth, on a day spent all around the estuary. We caught a train across the bridge spanning estuary, explored the far side of the estuary, walked back across the bridge, had lunch overlooking the estuary, and explored the Barmouth side of the estuary. After all, estuaries are a bit of a novelty to us Midlanders.
