This fisherman caught the incoming tide, walking out to the boat across the sand of the estuary, and climbing on board just a few minutes before the rising water floated his boat. I expected him to head out towards the sea, but instead he merely motored around the diminishing sandbank to pick up some buoys, anchored his boat, and strolled back across the sand to the shore. Maybe he was just waiting for channels through the sandbanks to become suitably watery.
