Has anyone else in this part of the world noticed that sun seems to be particularly low in the sky while remaining disconcertingly bright? I know that it is a seasonal thing that has happened at this time in every year that I have been on this earth (all 21 of them, give or take a few) but it seems that on every sunny day I seem to spend a considerable time walking (or driving) into the sun’s glare. This shot, for instance, was taken not long before High Noon, when the sun should be approaching its zenith, but once again as we headed back to the Lane for some welcome lunch, the sun had more of the nature of early morning or late afternoon. Maybe it’s just my aging eyes not adjusting as well as they once did.
I did read something about the sun having more brightness at a time in the day when you should least expect it! Have to read more! I can see the limited light in this shot and appreciate the reflected sun in the water!
