It was stormy morning yesterday, although not as stormy as the northern part of the UK. We were lucky because, although the sky was threatening, the rain was restricted to “spits and spots” in the air, but it was exceedingly windy. Our walk out to the adjacent village of Thurlaston was easy enough, the wind blowing us along the footpath, but the return trip was a bit of a battle. Tia is quite leggy, not the most aerodynamic of dogs, and occasionally there would be a distinct wobble as a she was buffeted by a sideways gust, and when she headed into the wind her ears were blown vertically upwards, which I am sure that she found most disconcerting.
