One of our Saturday morning dog walking routes takes us through a local sports field, where a local team practices. Presumably this was the last practice before the seasonal celebrations begin, and the goalie certainly got into the Christmas spirit! Just a couple of minutes before I had passed the BMX track, where youngsters were practicing, and parents were happily preparing bacon butties. There is something irresistible about the smell of frying bacon, and I couldn’t resist making a quick call home. By the time that Tia and I got home @shepherdmanswife had prepared a bacon buttie for me, complete with brown sauce. Bless her. I am spoilt…
